For all of Fig Keele's life, the House had haunted her dreams - its ghostly, compelling form preying on her sanity and leading her, finally, to its address at the shifting crossroads of realities. But the House has a mind of its own, and while its doors may open onto countless worlds, Fig's home is not one of them.

One part of the House still holds out promise for its captive residents, however. The basement, along with whatever lurks within it, has been sealed off and forgotten as long as anyone can remember. For Fig and her new "friends," these dark and mysterious chambers may reveal a way out - provided they can make it past the chilling local residents.

Of course, other things happen in the dark as well. And while the House's guests reveal their sordid stories of love and lust, sparks may fly that could end up burning them all.
