The JLA is close to splintering.

In IDENTITY CRISIS, the Justice League's darkest secret, that they used magic to alter the minds of the Secret Society of Super-Villains, was finally revealed. When Batman opposed the action, the JLA also stole some of the Dark Knight's memory. But now he knows the truth, and he's angry.
